Kahula and Ideal Frankie, who won the semi-finals of the two-year-old fillies’ division, are both out of past Vicbred champions in Kualoa (2YO and 3YO) and Pistol Abbey (4YO) respectively, while Bumper Crop, the winner of a heat of the two-year-old trotting fillies’ series, is a daughter of the dual Vicbred Final winner Kinvara Sue.

Pistol Abbey, who also won the Group 1 Queen of the Pacific, left the NSW Derby heat victor Silver Pistol.

Queen Of the Sees, who captured a division of the three-year-old trotting fillies’ series, is a daughter of the Great Southern Star, Trotting Grand Prix and Breeders Crown heroine and dual Aged Mare of the Year Dance Craze.

The other three-year-old fillies’ trotting heat winner Hallebesofine, ranks as a half-sister to the thrice Vicbred champion, dual Oaks winner and 2YO Filly, 3YO Filly and Aged Trotting Mare of the Year Claudy’s Princess.

Sweet Irish Loch, who impressively won a semi of the three-year-old pacing fillies’ division, is a half-sister to the triple Oaks winner and the 2018 Australian and New Zealand 3YO Filly of the Year Shez All Rock.

Le Cardinal, the upset winner of a three-year-old pacing colts and geldings’ semi, is a product of the Victoria Oaks heat winner Im Wrongly Accused NZ, the dam of the 2020 Vicbred two-year-old champion Kimble.

Meanwhile, Munny The Munster, who captured a heat of three-year-old trotting division, is a half-brother to the 2020 Vicbred champion and 2YO Filly of the Year Banglez and the 2021 Breeders Crown champion and 2YO Filly of the Year Just A Bit Touchy.

The unbeaten two-year-old heat winner Verbici is the second foal of the Listed Bathurst Gold Coronet victor and Vicbred finalist Verbier.

Majaro Girl, the winner of a two-year-old trotting fillies’ heat, is a daughter of the Group 2 and 3 winner Monaro Maro NZ, while the three-year-old pacing colt’s semi-final victor Most Exciting is a sibling to three Listed winners in Compete, Go Dancing and Star Celebrity.
