HICKORY ALOHA REPLAY

In Maryland Sires Stakes action, Russell Foster and Wowie Zowie made it 7-10 lifetime as she set a new lifetime mark in three-year old fillies action in 1:55.2. The daughter of Cam’s Rocket went gate to wire to pick up her first win in two starts this year for trainer Megan Foster.

In the second division for fillies, the rapidly improving Samantha’s All In, was indeed all in, ducking to the passing lane in the stretch to go by stablemate Madison’s All In, scoring in 1:54.3 for John Wagner. It was the first win in 12 starts for the daughter of Rusty’s All In, trained by Wagner for Owner-Breeder Tammy Crescenze.

In the solo division for sophby Peteomore pacing colts, Real Made, a son of Rusty’s For Real, rallied with a big brush down the backside to defeat the favorite and pace setter Harvey’s All In, winning in 1:54 for Allan Davis. It was the second career win and new lifetime mark for the home-bred of Dale Hall Jr., who won last Fall’s $45,000 final.

In action before the betting card started, Pride Of Windswept kept up her dominance among three-year old filly trotters, winning by nine lengths in 1:58 for driver Corey Callahan. Shaun Callahan trains the daughter of Charlie De Vie for John and Sarah Swart. She is now 9-11 lifetime and has never lost in MDSS competition.

In the Colt Division, Jim Morand and Funnyfunnyriddle held off a late surge from Whitesville Tug in 2:00.3. The son of Lockkeeper is now 7-11 lifetime, 3-4 this year for trainer Les Givens who conditions for Nanticoke Racing Inc., Jim Magno and Joseph Fonte.
