Call Me Goo was retired in January after finishing in the top three in 38 of 46 career races, with 25 wins and $1.15 million in earnings. The 6-year-old daughter of Googoo Gaagaa-Callmemza was an O’Brien Award winner in 2024 when her victories included the Breeders Crown Mare Trot (G1) and Armbro Flight (G2). She won a total of six graded stakes lifetime. She was consigned by Northwood Bloodstock Agency.

The next three horses on Thursday’s best-sellers list were broodmares Explosionbroline S ($385,000), Wind Chime ($360,000) and Mon Cheval ($350,00) – all purchased by Armitage Farm out of the Spring Station Bloodstock Phase 1 dispersal.

Explosionbroline S, in foal to Captain Corey, is a 4-year-old daughter of Donato Hanover-Celebrity Speedie. She is a half-sister to Jolene Jolene, who is the dam of 2021 Dan Patch and O’Brien awards winner Venerable as well as multiple-stakes-winners Crucial and Voguish. Jolene Jolene also is the grandam of 2024 Dan Patch and O’Brien awards winner Maryland and graded-stakes-winners Inexpressable and Climatic Hanover.

Wind Chime, in foal to Chapter Seven, is a 6-year-old daughter of Father Patrick-Wind Stroll. Her first foal, a Walner-sired filly named Whimsy Station, sold for $150,000 at last month’s Lexington Selected Yearling Sale. Wind Chime was a multiple winner on the Kentucky Sire Stakes circuit during her racing career and is a half-sister to multiple-graded-stakes winner Fast As The Wind as well as to Sound Check, the dam of 2025 Dan Patch Award-winner Warrawee Michelle.

Mon Cheval, in foal to Captain Corey, is a 7-year-old daughter of Father Patrick out of the multiple Dan Patch Award-winner Shake It Cerry. Mon Cheval was a multiple winner on the Pennsylvania stakes circuit during her racing career, and her half-sister Madam Cheval was a New Jersey Sire Stakes champion this year. Last month, Mon Cheval’s Chapter Seven-sired filly Ma Cherie Station sold for $475,000 at the Lexington Selected Yearling Sale.

All three Armitage purchases were consigned by Alliance Bloodstock.

Overall Thursday, a total of 303 horses and stallion shares sold for just shy of $12 million, an average of $39,578.
