American Risk seeks fourth straight victory

SUMMERSIDE, PE – American Risk (American Ideal) will look for his fourth straight harness racing win in the featured pace Tuesday evening at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.

The Prince County oval has 15 dashes scheduled for a 6 P.M. opening post time, with the $4,750 top class lining up in race 14.

American Risk is the top choice from post 3 with Keith Legge in the seat for trainer George Rennison and owner Risky Biz Group of Truro, N.S. The 10-year-old son of American Ideal has won his last three starts, including a 1:54.4 victory at Summerside in his latest.

Governor’s Plate finalist Doc Awesome will command respect from post 4 with David Dowling driving for trainer Darla MacEachern. MacEachern co-owns the six-year-old son of All Bets Off with Allan Gaudet and Mike Cameron of Summerside.

Middleton Terror has post 2 for driver Jason Hughes and trainer Luke Burke after winning three of five starts this season. Sauble Attack will leave from post 5 with Ken Murphy driving for MacEachern.

Louie The Great has the rail from the Les Waite barn with Corey Macpherson in the seat.

The Backstretch Beat sides with American Risk in the featured event.
