The capital oval has a 10-dash presentation starting at 12:30 P.M., as the first part of a doubleheader. The afternoon card features two-year-old pacers in Atlantic Sires Stakes A and B divisions.

Woodmere Rock It is the 5-2 morning-line favourite in the first $15,520 A division for two-year-old pacing colts in race 2. Gilles Barrieau will guide the Jamie Smith trainee from post 5 for owner TheStable Woodmere Rock It of Guelph, Ont.

The son of Tobago Cays is unbeaten in seven lifetime starts and enters Saturday off a 1:56 victory in a gold division of the Joe O’Brien Memorial at Red Shores Summerside. His 1:52.4 lifetime best came over the Charlottetown oval in August in the P.E.I. Colt Stakes.

The Classifier’s Choices complete the order with Southdale Jeff (To be driven by Adam Merner) from post 2 and Woodmere Dougal (Corey MacPherson) leaving from the rail.

The Post Time Picks likes Woodmere Rock It to keep his perfect record intact.

“Woodmere Rock It has been perfect so far in his career and even recovered from an early break last out to record his seventh win in 2026. He makes the move back to Charlottetown and with Barrieau at the wheel we think the winning streak hits eight straight.”

The second $15,520 Atlantic Sires Stakes A division for rookie pacing colts lines up in race 6 with Malicious Benny the 5-2 morning-line favourite from post 3. Marc Campbell drives the Earl Watts trainee for owner Wade Peconi of Stanchel. Woodmere Fergus (Jason Hughes) leaves from post 4 while Camco Kolton (MacPherson) has post 5.

The two-year-old pacing fillies compete for $20,300 in each of their A-divisions.

Ys Fancy Speed is the 5-2 morning-line choice from the rail in race 7 for trainer Watts and owners Windemere Farms of Springvale and Jack Quinn of Charlottetown. Campbell drives the two-time winner against Lady Of Malice (Paul Langille) from post 6 and Howmac Lula (Barrieau) from post 7.

Race 9 has Isle Impress You favoured at 5-2 from the rail for driver Ken Murphy, trainer Saul Lanigan and owners Lanigan, Darcy Doyle, Isaac Schurman and Shane Esson. Starship Daisy (Langille) is the second choice from post 3 after winning four of six lifetime starts, while Nauti Beach (David Dowling) leaves from post 2.

Atlantic Sires Stakes B divisions for the rookie pacers are featured throughout the remainder of the program for $6,000 purses.
