The capital oval has a 12:30 P.M. first-race post time with the Atlantic Breeders Crown championship finals highlighting the program during the 60th Anniversary of the Atlantic Sires Stakes. The Atlantic Breeders Crown Weekend of Champions is presented by the P.E.I. Standardbred Horse Owner’s Association.

Windemere Skye headlines the $50,000 Atlantic Breeders Crown three-year-old pacing filly final in race 12 with Marc Campbell in the bike for trainer Earl Watts. The daughter of Somewhere Fancy is undefeated in 11 starts this season after going 12-for-12 as a rookie and has banked $219,393 lifetime. She leaves from post 7 after 23 straight victories.

Alwaysinfullforce is the 3-1 morning line second choice from the rail for trainer Mike McGuigan with Ken Murphy driving while Mysterious Ways (To be driven by Jason Hughes) is the 7-2 third choice from post 6. Isle Mach Da Money (Gilles Barrieau) is 4-1 from post 4.

The Post Time Picks side with Windemere Skye despite the outside starting position.

“Windemere Skye remains perfect in her career, and she’s been a gate to wire winner in her last four appearances. She draws post seven today but we’re betting Campbell works out a trip from here and puts a crown on the queen of this division.”

The $50,000 Atlantic Breeders Crown final for three-year-old pacing colts lines up in race 14 with Zero Two Sixty the 5-2 morning line favourite from post 7 for trainer Sifroi Melanson and driver Murphy. Oceanview Lou is the 3-1 second choice from post 8 with Brodie MacPhee driving for trainer Tom Weatherbie. Darbies Fancy (Gilles Barrieau) gets third billing for trainer Bernard McCallum with post 5.

Two-year-old pacing fillies clash for $50,000 in race 8 with Sheeowtime Speed the 5-2 morning line favourite from the rail. Campbell drives the Earl Watts trainee, who has five wins from eight starts this season and a 1:56.2 lifetime best. Starship Daisy (Ken Murphy) is the 3-1 second choice from post 3 while Redland Equinox (Hughes) is selected for third.

Race 10 carries the $50,000 Atlantic Breeders Crown final for two-year-old pacing colts with Woodmere Rock It favoured at 5-2 from post 3. Gilles Barrieau drives the Jamie Smith trainee, who has been perfect through nine career starts and owns a 1:52.4 lifetime mark. Woodmere Fergus is the 3-1 second choice from the rail for driver Hughes and trainer Smith while Southdale Jeff (Adam Merner) is 7-2 from post 2.

The trotters will also crown their champions with $25,000 on the line in each final.

Rockin Through It is the 5-2 morning line favourite from the rail in the race 2 Atlantic Breeders Crown two-year-old trotting filly final. Mike McGuigan trains and drives the daughter of Muscle Through It, who has three wins from nine seasonal starts. Saulsbrook Disco (Campbell) is the 3-1 second choice from post 2 with Howmac Limerick (Jason Hughes) the 7-2 third choice from post 3.

Hoponarocket is the 3-1 second choice from post 3 for trainer-driver Mike McGuigan.

Hopthroughit gets rail control in the $25,000 two-year-old trotting colt final in race 5. The Clare MacDonald trained and driven rookie is the 3-1 morning line second choice after winning three of his nine starts this season. Stunning Speed is the 5-2 morning line favourite from post 5 for trainer-driver Mike McGuigan after suffering the first loss of his career last Sunday in Summerside while Shoe Dog Speed (Paul Langille) is the 7-2 third choice from post 3.

The three-year-old trotting fillies meet for the $25,000 Atlantic Breeder’s Crown Final in race 7 with Bonmati (MacPherson) the 5-2 favourite from post 5 for trainer Blayne White.
