Starship Glyde Favoured To Extend Winning Streak
CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Starship Glyde (Control The Moment) will attempt to extend his winning harness racing streak in the Sunday afternoon feature at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

The capital oval has 13 dashes scheduled for a special Sunday card with a 12:30 P.M. opening post time. The $5,000 featured pace lines up in race 12.
Starship Glyde is the 5-2 morning-line favourite from post 7 with Corey MacPherson in the seat for trainer Earl Watts and owner Windemere Farms of Springvale.
The six-year-old son of Control The Moment has won his last two starts in Charlottetown, including a career-best 1:51.4 performance during Old Home Week followed by a 1:53.1 score on Aug. 29.
Phil My Beer is 7-2 on the morning line from post 2 with Marc Campbell driving for trainer Landon Campbell. The four-year-old was fourth in P.E.I. Colt Stakes Graduate action in his latest outing.
Blood Money is listed at 3-1 from post 5 with Gilles Barrieau driving for trainer Ron Matheson and owner Dr. Mitchell Downey of Saint John, N.B. The free-legged son of Sweet Lou is a six-time winner this season.
The Post Time Picks side with Starship Glyde over Phil My Beer and Merigo Magic.
“Starship Glyde has three wins and a close second in his last five starts and picked up a new speed badge of 1:51.4 two starts back. There’s lots of early speed in this race to chase so if Corey can map out a second over trip, they could reel in the leaders late in the mile.”
One Wicked Man is selected as the most probable winner of the afternoon in the $4,250 race 9 pace. Trainer-driver Kenny Arsenault will send the 16-time winner from the rail for owner James Perrot of Stratford. Impeccable Shadow (Paul Langille) and Bettor Than Spring (Campbell) complete the Post Time Picks selections.
Newcomer Western Artist is the value play in race 3 from post 3 with Ryan Desroche driving for trainer Leonard Myers and owner Liam Myers of Stratford. The pacer was racing at The Meadows in Pennsylvania.
The longshot play is Kraken Seelster in race 8. Desroche trains and drives the post 4 starter for owner Carl Campbell of Baddeck, N.S.
