Mydadsaid A delivers another front-running masterclass

Mydadsaid A (Sportswriter) won for the fourth time in the last six weeks as he went coast-to-coast at Saratoga Casino Hotel with harness racing driver Jimmy Devaux at the controls.

The Jackie Greene trainee drew post seven in Saturday’s installment of the $18,000 Open Pace and powered up in the early going to secure the lead in an opening quarter of 27.1.

Feeling no pressure on the front-end in the Open, Mydadsaid A got a middle half breather of 58.4 and held off late bids from last week’s Open winner Binge On Yankee (Kyle Swift) and pocket-sitter Red Blooded (Wally Hennessey) before scoring in 1:54. It was the sixth win of the season for Mydadsaid A and his third Open victory in the last six weeks. Binge On Yankee won a place photo with Red Blooded who finished one spot behind Binge On Yankee for the second consecutive week. The 3-5 betting favorite on Sunday, Mydadsaid A is owned by Kellogg Racing Stables LLC.
