The capital oval has 13 dashes scheduled for a 5 P.M. opening post time with the $6,250 Preferred 2 lining up in race 12.

Get Wings is the Post Time Picks selection from post 3 with Paul Langille taking the lines for trainer Vaughan Doyle and owners Gary Ford of Stratford and Janet Kinney of Wheatley River. The four-year-old son of Bettors Wish has won 10 of 28 starts this season and was a runner-up to Miraculous Desbi N in the $15,000 P.E.I. Harness Racing Industry Association Invitational in his latest appearance.

Miki Shan N leaves from post 6 with Corey MacPherson in the seat for trainer Chris MacKay. The 2025 Gold Cup and Saucer winner captured his trial in 1:51.2 before finishing ninth from post 8 in last Saturday’s $100,000 final, won by Fifth And Five.

Twin B Tuffenuff is the 5-2 morning-line favourite from post 5 for driver Gilles Barrieau, trainer Ron Matheson and owner Patrick Morris of Charlottetown. The 11-year-old son of Rock N Roll Heaven was fourth in the $30,000 James (Roach) MacGregor Gold Cup and Saucer Consolation last Friday after closing his mile in 1:51.

The Tulsa King (To be driven by Mike McGuigan) has the rail along with post 2 starter Merigo Magic (Adam Merner) and Gigis Dream (Marc Campbell) completing the field with post 4.

Post Time Picks sides with Get Wings.

“Gets Wings was sent to the point on Saturday and led for a long way before being collared at the very end. He gets another prime-time post to work from and Langille has had success with him in the past so get ready for a coast-to-coast score.”

The Brent and Esther Mutch Memorial lines up in race 7 for a $4,000 purse. T H Boomtown is the 5-2 favourite from post 2 with Barrieau driving for trainer Matheson and owners Dr. Don Ling and Wayne MacDougall of Stratford.

Race 8 is the $3,500 Omer Caissie Memorial with Geishas Treasure favoured from post 6. Marc Campbell drives the Brendon Mullen trainee for owner Blaize Rogerson of Tracadie Cross.
