Mellby Jinx takes STL Gold at Umaker

He is owned by breeder Mellby Gard AB. Stablemate Mellby Joker (8g Muscle Hill-Mellby Amulett-From Above) was second at 50.1/1 odds driven by Henrik  Sveensson for trainer Wajersten and Mellby Gard AB. Third was 14.57/1 Castor The Star (8m Maharajah-Carelia  Boko-Varenne) with Mats E Djuse up for Jorgen Westholm  the trainer/owner.

In  the Berth Johanssons Memorial (150,000SK to  winner, 2140 meters autostart, nine starters) Dream Mine (5m Maharajah-Your Dreamgirl-From Above) scored in 1.10,7kr at 1.76/1 odds  in last to first rallying fashion. Mats E Djus teamed the Jorgen Westholm trainee that Norchri AB owns.

He now sports 13  carer wins in 18  starts for 11,616,000SEK earned, This was his first 2026  victory after a 2025 slate of 8-1-1 in 10 starts. Second was 3.32/1 odds  Before Takeoff (5m Nuncio-Bacio-Muscle  Hill) for trainer/driver Daniel Wajersten. Third was 19.06/1 odds X.O. Kemp (5g Greenshoe-NirvanaGrif-Varenne) with Oskar Florhed driving for conditioner Daniel Wajersten.

Finally, Noelia (4f Power-Inside Broline-Varenne) score gate  to wire timed in 1/13/1kr in the STL  Stodivision (125,000SEK to winner, 2140 meters voltstart distance handicap, 15 starters) with  Orjan Kihlstom up for Oscar Berglund training for Jan R Larsson.

The winner, off at 6.68/1 odds won for the fourth time in 12 career starts for 385,250SEK earned. Second was the late rallying  8.25/1 Sweet Celebration (5f Campo Bahia-Udo-Maharajah) with Mats E Djuse up, followed by third finishing 4.8/1 and 20 meter handicapped  Digital Last (4f Super Photo Kosmos-Looming Storn-Andover Hall) with Rikard N Skoglund driving.
