Duvaldestin sweeps GNT Leg 11

The Thierry Duvaldstin trainees  were 1-2-3 in the Grand National du Trot (Gr III, 90,000€purse, 2550 meters distance handicap, 16 starters ages  5-10) at Reims, the 11^th leg of the renowned series.

The 3.6/1 odds Katchi Quick  (6g Erino du Pommereux-Namoura Quick) scored in 1.10.8kr with Clement Duvaldestin up for trainer TD and owner/breeder Ecurie Quick Star. The winner now sports 16 career wins in 30 starts for 345,480€ earned.

His stablemate 2.3/1 odds and 25  meter handicapped Just de L’Oison (7g Quaro) was second for Theo Duvaldestin for TD and Ecurie Paquin.

This one has 23 wins in 41 outings. Third was another TD stablemate, 28/1 odds and  25 meter handicapped Ialto d’Hertals (8g Alto d Viete), handled by Franck Nivard for TD and Stal d’Atom. Jentil Dieschoot (7g UUn Charme Fou)was fourth at 10/1 odds, with Eric Raffin up for conditioner Kevin  Leblanc and Peter Corty the owner/breeder.

The 26/1 Jacoma Bello (7g Un Mec d’Heripre) earned fifth money for driver Robin Lamy and owner/trainer  Thomas Levesque.

GNT Series points leaders going to leg 12 at Nantes (November 4) are 56 for Jentil Dieschoot; 47 for Ialto d’Hertals, 31 for both Kanto Avis and Katchi Quick and 27 for Just de L’Oison.

The previous day at Vincennes saw 8/10 odds Lugano de Lou (5g Up And Quick-Kooka de Lou-Coktail Jet) win the Prix Freia (60,000€ purse, 2700 meters, 10 starters ages 4-5) timed in 1.13.7kr with Alexandre Abrivard aboard. Ecurie Augustin Normand owns this L.Cl. Abrivard trainee that has seven carer wins in 30 starts for 157,515€ earned.

The 8.1/1 Mauffetard (4m Face Time Bourbon-Usenze-Coktail Jet) was second with Gabriele Gelormini up for Jean Michel Tessier the owner/breeder and trainer Sebastien Guarato. The 9/1 Limo de Mer (5g Bird Parker-Sarabelle Merite-Love You) was third for driver Franck Ouvrie and trainer Pavel Tamsin.

On the same Paris card the 2.6/1 odds Nelson du Ponty (3m Davidson du Pont-Infinity du Pont-Quaker Jet) took the Prix Arethusa (62,000€ purse, 2700 meters, 12 three year old starters) timed in 1.14.5kr with trainer Nicolas Bazire up.

Ecurie JMB owns this Celine Bazire bre colt that now sports four carer win in 10 starts for 79,370€ earned.

Home second was 27/1 Noccato d’Orly (3m Dragon des Racques) with Benjamin Rochard up for owner Jacques Cottel and trainer Antonio Ripoll Rigo.

Third was 102/1 odds Nobel Venesi (3m Hohnck-Eloise Venesi) driven by Esteban De Jesus for trainer Nicolas Bridault.
