Marc Campbell sent the Earl Watts trainee directly to the front in the $9,000 fourth leg of the Aged Pacing Mares Series and controlled fractions of 27, 55.4 and 1:25 before sprinting home in 27.1 to win by four-lengths in 1:52.1.

Lady Cafe Au Lait ($2.10) lowered the previous Summerside track record for aged pacing mares by a full second. The former 1:53.1 standard had been shared by Woodmere Skyroller, Share The Moment, Get Answers and Lady Cafe Au Lait herself.

Windemere Saddy (Ken Murphy) followed throughout to finish second while Brokeandoutofgas (Gilles Barrieau) completed the triactor.

Trumps Girl ($4.90) captured the other $9,000 Aged Pacing Mares Series division in 1:53.3 for trainer David O’Brien and owner Tommy Collings of Mount Stewart.

Campbell completed a driving triple during the 14-dash program. He also guided Ys Fancy Speed ($5) to a maiden-breaking victory in 1:59.2 for trainer Watts.

Watts recorded a training triple as Stay Dreamy ($2.30) won race 2 in 1:58.1 with driver Paul Langille before Ys Fancy Speed and Lady Cafe Au Lait completed the hat trick.

Trainer Jennifer Doyled recorded win number 500 of her training career with Bet On Evil ($7.10) in a 1:56.4 clocking in race 7 for owner Shane Baglole of Cornwall.

Live racing continues Thursday evening at 6 P.M., at Red Shores Charlottetown.
