House Edge Hanover looks to keep winning run alive

By Nicholas Oakes ·

SUMMERSIDE, PE – House Edge Hanover will look to keep his sharp form rolling Tuesday evening in the $6,250 featured pace at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.

House Edge Hanover

The Prince County oval has a 14-dash presentation starting at 6 P.M., with the Preferred 2 pace lining up in race 13.

House Edge Hanover has post 4 with Jason Hughes in the bike for trainer Ron Matheson and owner Everett Hanson of Maugerville, N.B. The five-year-old son of Betting Line was a winner in his latest start in Summerside, stopping the clock in 1:54.3 while defeating Doc Awesome and Sauble Attack. He has been razor sharp since returning to action and has been in the money in all three starts this season.

Louie The Great has rail control with Corey MacPherson in the seat for trainer Les Waite, who co-owns with Leith and Spencer Waite. The four-year-old son of Dancin Lou was a winner in 1:56.1 in his latest.

Brigus has post 2 for driver Adam Merner and trainer Nicholas Oakes. The Betterthancheddar pacer has been a model of consistency this season with three wins, a second and two thirds from nine starts while racing for owner-breeder Milton Young of Paradise, N.L.

Doc Awesome leaves from post 3 with Paul Langille driving for trainer Darla MacEachern who co-owns with Allen Gaudet and Mike Cameron. The All Bets Off gelding was second to House Edge Hanover in his latest Summerside start.

Sauble Attack gets post 5 with Ken Murphy listed to drive for trainer and owner Paul Biggar and co-owner Donald Callbeck of Summerside. The Bettors Delight gelding has already been a winner in 1:54.4 this season at Red Shores Summerside.

The Post Time Picks like House Edge Hanover on top.

“House Edge Hanover has quietly become one of the sharpest horses in this group and was a powerful winner in his latest while defeating some of these same rivals. He has the versatility to leave or sit close, and with Hughes calling the shots, we think he keeps the momentum rolling and gets it all.”
