Harness analyst best tips:

Best Bet: R7 Secret Agent Man

Best Value: R2 Airwaves

Race 1

Pyramid Mischief (5)

Had to settle for fifth at Gore after a string of seconds. Manners are important from the unruly but she can bounce back.

KD Corona (4)

Chased home a handy rival at Oamaru and continues to race consistently. Front mark gives him a strong winning chance.

Popnrock (7)

Finished off nicely for third at Gore and looks well placed in this company. Thirty metres to overcome but has each-way claims.

Race 2

Airwaves (1)

Had little luck when resuming and should improve considerably with that outing. Ace draw makes him an attractive each-way chance.

Threebeersdeep (6)

Returns from a break after a useful recent trial. Faces race-fit opposition but is capable of featuring fresh.

The Orange Roughy (2)

Has been freshened and drops back into a suitable grade. Handy draw gives him an opportunity to improve sharply.

Race 3

Diva Bee (7)

Returns after a tidy second in her latest trial. Has upside and looks capable of making a winning return.

Andy Hall (4)

Recovered well after an early mistake to finish fourth last start. Reliable type who looks a strong each-way chance.

Our Evie Rae (1)

Was solid here last start after an excellent Winton second. Gets the ace draw and should be right in the finish.

Race 4

Shezastranger (10)

Has produced two good efforts since returning and chased a smart colt last start. Second-row draw but looks a genuine contender.

Always B Medley (6)

Makes her debut after several trial appearances. Has some improvement to find but could surprise with the right run.

Crackasky (1)

Went very close from this draw last start and gets the ace again. Looks capable of going one better.

Race 5

Kings Choice (6)

Has been competitive without getting the rewards recently. Finds a suitable assignment and looks a strong each-way chance.

Don’t Stop Believing (7)

Finished off nicely at Winton and continues to improve with racing. Unruly position is the concern but she can threaten.

Way Coola (4)

Impressive maiden winner at Oamaru and looks to have plenty of upside. Steps up in grade but can win again.

Race 6

Impressive Shard (10)

Comes off a solid Oamaru victory and has trialled nicely since. Second-row draw but looks very well placed on ratings.

Claasee (8)

Returns after a lengthy break without a public trial. Has competed in stronger company and warrants respect if ready fresh.

Rakavenom (6)

Has been costly with her manners but possesses enough ability to win a race like this. Major chance if she does everything right.

Race 7

Secret Agent Man (4)

Returns after several preparatory trials and brings plenty of class to this field. Nicely drawn and looks very hard to beat.

Justaweesip (3)

Chasing a hat-trick after two smart victories and has won a trial since. Gets another good draw and looks the main danger.

Cracker Opie (6)

Has chased home some useful opposition in his recent placings. Honest type who should be competitive again.

Race 8

Jaccka Henry (3)

Has finished strongly for second in his last two starts and now gets an even better draw. Looks a major winning chance.

Beluga (11)

Continues to race in excellent form with three consecutive seconds. Second-row draw is awkward but he deserves plenty of respect.

Mr President (1)

Was only fair last start but gets a significant draw upgrade. Capable of improving sharply from the ace.
