Winton selections 26th July 2026

Harness analyst best tips:
Best Bet: R3   Step It Up A Notch
Best Value: R8  Drummershavtime

Race 1

Ada R J (4)
Building nicely with a strong second last start. Racing consistently and looks one of the better chances.

Delightingold (5)
Recent Canterbury form has been mixed but now joins an in-form southern stable. Worth keeping safe.

Rakaturbo (2)
Continues to race well without winning and gets an ideal draw here. Looks ready to go very close.

Race 2

Porcupine Creek (5)
Has been honest in her last couple and finds another suitable field. Genuine winning chance.

Just A Gem (8)
Good effort in stronger company last start and should appreciate this assignment. Wide draw the main concern.

Captain Robyn (2)
Hasn’t been far away in his last two and gets a much better draw here. Definite top three chance.

Race 3

Step It Up A Notch (7)
Drops back in grade after excellent recent placings. Clearly the horse to beat in this field.

Tua Lipa (5)
Returns to the bigger track after some solid recent efforts. Well capable of threatening in this company.

Nutcracker (8)
Finished off nicely when fourth at Ascot Park and looks well placed here. Must be included.

Race 4

Yukon Hill (7)
Chased some smart horses in her latest trial and looks ready for a strong debut. Big chance.

Pyramid Mischief (5)
Showed plenty when chasing race winners at the trials. Has the ability to win with manners.

Gasherbrum (13)
Returns after a satisfactory trial and this grade should suit. Handicap hurts but chance at odds.

Race 5

Rakamick (11)
Worked hard and still battled on last start. Consistent type who should be right in the fight again.

Bombay Glacier (8)
Very good when working from a tough draw before finishing second at Ascot Park. Racing well enough to win this.

Honeycomb (5)
Strong third in the mares final last start and drops sharply in grade. Looks one of the hardest to beat.

Race 6

He Aint Fakin (14)
Got things wrong last start but his previous form was excellent. Unbeaten on the track and goes close here.

Bullit Train (13)
Strong winner at Ascot Park and the bigger track should suit him perfectly. Major threat despite the handicap.

Joany Baby (12)
Below her best last start after some much better efforts prior. Capable of bouncing back if she brings her best.

Race 7

Cracker Opie (10)
Has been taking on strong company and racing consistently. Finds a suitable race and should be right in the finish.

Rakavenom (5)
Had no luck last start after a good win prior. Better than that result suggests and can bounce back.

Jaccka Elvis (9)
In excellent form with wins at his last two starts. Steps into another suitable race and has to be respected.

Race 8

Drummershavtime (7)
Latest run was only fair but his previous form was strong. Drops back in grade and looks a serious winning chance.

Major Burns (10)
Did plenty of work and still battled on well last start. This grade suits and he can be right in the finish.

Dragon Power (11)
Finished strongly to win in harder company last start. Second-row draw is the query but he looks very well placed.
