Addington selections 26th July 2026
Harness analyst best tips:
Best Bet: R2 Dance Hall Girl
Best Value: R5 Gimmesomelovin
Race 1
Kotare Kelso (6)
Short break since going close at Rangiora and brings solid enough form into this. One of the main chances.
Mr Cash Man (8)
Racing in excellent form with three consecutive placings. Draw makes it tougher but he has to be respected.
Black Mach (7)
Latest run was disappointing but the effort prior was much better. Drops back in class and can improve.
Race 2
Dance Hall Girl (5)
Very good on debut when second after attracting money on the tote. Natural improvement makes her hard to beat.
Bettabe Lou (9)
Has shown enough ability despite being beaten as favourite recently. Draw is awkward but she remains a winning chance.
Bella Ciao (8)
Continues to race consistently without much luck. Wide draw isn’t ideal but she’s good enough to feature again.
Race 3
Speakeasy (6)
Two solid runs since returning and should be nearing peak fitness. Can settle handy and gets another chance.
Evolution (8)
Has shown ability at the trials and was strong through the line in her latest hit out. Can make an immediate impact.
Velocis (10)
Did some work before fighting on last start and should continue to improve with racing. Top three chance.
Race 4
Foreman Fox (4)
Resumes after an ordinary first campaign and has trialled ahead of this. Needs to improve but capable of doing so fresh.
The Seamstress (1)
Went close from the trail last week and gets another excellent draw. Should be right in the finish.
Kotare Argent (5)
Had his chance when resuming but should strip fitter for the run. Previous form makes him a strong chance in this company.
Race 5
Gimmesomelovin (4)
Found the line nicely last start and gets a much better draw today. Looks capable of playing a major role.
Harry Belafonte (12)
Had little luck last week after a strong finish the start before. Draw is difficult but he’s going well enough to overcome it.
Gatecrasher (13)
Had no luck when resuming and the extra distance should suit. Wide draw hurts but he can still be in the finish.
Race 6
Larissa Beaudiene (2)
Impressive winner last start and the draw gives her every opportunity. Looks one of the hardest to beat.
Zoom X (5)
Better than the latest result suggests and gets some relief in grade. Worth including at longer odds.
Scarlett’s Legacy (1)
Racing consistently and fought well again last start. Drawn to get an economical trip and should be thereabouts.
Race 7
Buffy Northstains (2)
Returned to better form with a solid effort on Friday. This looks ideal and she should be competitive.
KD Grins (3)
Went close two starts back and backed that up with another honest effort. Drawn to be right in the action.
Solemn Son (8)
Improved second up and should be fitter again. Needs to overcome the draw but has place claims.
Race 8
Keltic Tiger (1)
Returns from a spell and has the benefit of a recent trial. Ace draw helps and not the worst in this field.
Touch N Go (4)
Hasn’t missed a placing in four starts this campaign and was second last time. Racing well and looks a major chance.
Delightful Dreams (10)
Has been racing better than the form line suggests and worked hard when last seen here. Needs luck but can feature.
