Race 1

Rebel Castleton (8)

Had to work last week and battled on well enough. Racing consistently and looks a strong winning chance.

Mechanica (9)

Good second here last week and continues to race well. Looks one of the safest each-way chances.

Yeah Nah (4)

Solid effort at Auckland last time and her earlier form was strong. Should be right in the finish.

Race 2

Rivergirl Bella (4)

Recent form looks ordinary but she drops into a much easier race. Capable of turning things around here.

Ohoka Achilles (1)

Gets another ideal draw after a respectable fourth here last week. Should get every chance from the ace.

Benson Dude (3)

Two runs back should have him close to peak fitness. Nicely drawn and looks a genuine top-three chance.

Race 3

Eagle Hanover (2)

Better suited back over 2200m and starts from the front. Looks well placed to give this a serious shake.

Brother Johnson (10)

Won nicely here last week and is clearly in good order. Ten-metre handicap makes it tougher but he can feature.

Wynberg Janie (7)

Found the line strongly once clear last week. Starts from the front and looks one of the hardest to beat.

Race 4

Blacklaz (4)

Things went wrong at Auckland fresh up. Back left-handed tonight and his previous form makes him a major chance.

Claude (7)

Freshened since tackling stronger company and has won a workout since. Big drop in grade gives him strong claims.

Midfrew Lucre (5)

Good third here last week after winning at Auckland two starts earlier. Racing well and has to be included.

Race 5

Hayley Mhor (4)

Made good ground late here last week and gets a valuable start on the main dangers. Worth a look at odds.

One More Moment (8)

Drops back in grade and only has 15 metres to overcome. Looks extremely well placed in this company.

Very Majestic (9)

In outstanding form with three wins from her last six. Gives away 35 metres but is still a major threat.

Race 6

Leo Lincoln (1)

Recent form has been mixed but he gets a big advantage starting from the front. Strong each-way chance.

Village Rebel (5)

Excellent second here last week and looks back near his best. Ten metres shouldn’t stop him going close.

Beta Prepare (4)

Freshened for this and has an excellent record around Cambridge. Ten-metre handicap but looks a genuine winning chance.

Race 7

Soundshell (3)

Another good third here last week and continues to race consistently. Nicely drawn and looks ready to win.

The Miki Taker (1)

Gets the ace after a fair effort last week. Should enjoy a much softer trip and can be right in the finish.

Lilith (2)

Should improve plenty from her fresh-up run at Auckland. Drawn perfectly and looks one of the main dangers.
