The Prince County oval has a 15-dash presentation beginning at 6 P.M., with the $5,000 featured pace lining up in race 14.

Brookdale Johnny is the 5-2 morning line favourite from post 5 for driver Paul Langille, trainer Phil Sizer and Amherst, N.S., owners Douglas and Douglas Polley. The six-year-old son of Rockin In Heaven finished second in his latest two appearances, pacing in 1:52.3 behind Gigis Dream on Gold Cup and Saucer Trial Night. The start previous he closed in 26.3 to finish second to Malevolent in the P.E.I. Colt Stakes Graduate Series.

Freemans Legacy has post 4 as the 3-1 second choice for trainer-driver Jaycob Sweet and owner Mackenzie Arsenault of Alberton. The five-year-old pacer has five wins this season and finished third in 1:52.4 behind Bee Two Bee and Fast Louie on Aug. 15.

Sauble Attack is rated at 7-2 from post 3 with Ken Murphy driving for trainer Darla MacEachern and owners Paul Biggar of Tyne Valley and Donald Callbeck of Summerside. The 30-time winner enters the contest on a two-race win streak over the Summerside oval.

Middleton Terror has rail control for driver Jason Hughes and trainer Luke Burke after winning three of his four starts this season. The seven-year-old son of Stonebridge Terror is owned by Kingsley Walsh of Albany and Frank Balcom of Amherst, N.S., as he looks for win number 30 of his career.

The Backstretch Beat sides with Brookdale Johnny.

“Brookdale Johnny has been charging home against some of the fastest pacers on the East Coast and now lands in a spot where that closing kick should be even more effective. There is plenty of early speed inside him, so Langille should be able to follow the battle and unleash him when it matters most.”

Race 6 is the Bruce Stearns Memorial with First Glance (Murphy) the favourite with post 5 from the Chris Davies Stable.

Tonton Ron is selected to win the Peter Coughlin Memorial in race 5 with post 4 for trainer Rick Armstrong.

In the race 4 Walter B. Medich Memorial, Thinkingofeddie is the top choice for trainer-driver Brady Sweet leaving from post 4.
