Bold Eagle back to action

Reportedly the 2016 Prix d’Amerique winner Bold Eagle will resume harness racing action on June 11 at Paris-Vincennes in the €120,000 purse Prix Louis Jariel over 2175 meters.

That event will serve as a prep for the June 26 Prix Rene Balliere and the July 21 Prix Sables d’Olonne.

If all goes well next up for the champion son of Ready Cash would be the August 22 Prix Jockey at Vincennes and then the Criterium for five year-olds.

Bold Eagle’s return, sooner than expected, is good for summer racing action in France and will capture global trotting attention.

17 have declared early for next Saturday’s Gr. II test at Vincennes, including Bird Parker, Elitloppet starter Billie de Montfort and Sweden Cup elimination second place finisher Brillantissime.
