Bets of the week ringaround - March 24th 2016
Well it had to happen at some point and last weekend was the time that our harness racing tipsters got it wrong most of the time.
The ringaround had been producing nine to thirteen winners per week for several weeks and along with plenty of placegetters we having been going great guns.
Last weeks results stopped all that in its tracks as you can see from the breakdown.
Six winners overall with the ultra reliable Maurice McKendry selecting Trevs No Angel ($7:60) to top the money won section and an honourable mention to the boss who hasn't missed very often lately and nabbed Cullect A Guinness last week at ($3:90)
Terry Chmiel all but pulled off the upset of the season when Parramatta was beaten a half neck at win odds of 30 to one but his $6:70 for second was nice money all the same.
Five of our other tipsters managed a place to make it a six win-six place result for the week.
Redemption is at hand this week so one would hope that our tipsters can get back to tipping winners straight away.
We have five meetings in play with two in the north and three in the south and don't forget to follow the first day picks at Hawera to the second day there.
