Bets of the week ringaround - 10th March 2016
Our harness racing tipsters were staring down the barrel of a bad weekend last week before they produced a late flourish that gave them a very respectable result at the end of the day.
By the end of the weekend our tipsters had picked 10 winners and seven place getters and a lot of the winners they selected were at good odds.
Robbie Holmes led the way with Many Options ($14:80) at Westport which was a great result for the ringaround.
Brad Williamson got Six Diamonds home at ($5:80) at Forbury Park while Jim Curtin got Errol Finn home at Westport at a healthy ($5:50.)
Scot Phelan's pick No Doctor Needed ($5:60) was too smart at Alexandra Park while Blair Orange ($4:70), Steve Richardson ($4:10) and Tim Williams ($3:80) were other tipsters to pay good money.
Ricky May, Peter Scaife and Maurice McKendry also selected winners over the weekend.
We have a new addition to the tipster panel this week with leading trainer Nigel McGrath coming on board.
As Nigel will quickly find out the other tipsters are very competitive with regards their tips so lets hope Nigel can get off to a winning start this weekend
