Beau Jangles sells for $3.7 million at Auction
HARRISBURG, PA – Champion pacer Beau Jangles (Cattlewash) has been sold for USD$3.7 million at the 2026 Standardbred Horse Sale in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on Friday (Nov. 6).

The three-year-old harness racing son of Cattlewash, who was offered as Hip 1602 through Bob Boni’s Northwood Bloodstock Agency, attracted considerable attention as the only reigning Horse of the Year ever offered at public auction.
Trained by Ian Moore and driven by Bob McClure, Beau Jangles enjoyed an undefeated two-year-old campaign highlighted by a dominant Breeders Crown victory.
The outstanding colt has earned more than $1.6 million during his career and established a lifetime mark of 1:47.2 at The Red Mile on October 3.
Beau Jangles was offered as part of a partnership dispersal that also included promising two-year-old trotter Yankee Boss and O’Brien Award-winning mare Call Me Goo, who sold for $475,000 USD on Thursday.
Northwood Bloodstock Agency’s Bob Boni described Beau Jangles as one of the most dominant pacing colts of the modern era, highlighting his exceptional potential as a future stallion.
The sale marks a significant new chapter for one of North America’s most exciting young pacing champions.
