Beau Jangles gunning for 15 in a row this weekend

By Jordyn Bublitz ·

Beau Jangles (Cattlewash) will put his unbeaten record on the line once again on Saturday night at Mohawk Park as the exciting three-year-old chases an incredible 15th consecutive victory in the opening leg of the $140,000 Ontario Sires Stakes Gold Series.

Beau Jangles

The son of Cattlewash has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting young pacers in harness racing, combining high speed with professionalism well beyond his age. From just 14 career starts, Beau Jangles remains perfect, a remarkable feat in modern racing where maintaining an unbeaten record is becoming increasingly rare.

Saturday night’s assignment sees the star colt draw wide in barrier eight, but despite the outside gate he has been installed as a dominant 1-9 morning line favourite for driver Bob McClure and trainer Dr Ian Moore.

While his rivals including Borderline Mobby, Windor and Tilthecowscomehome will be looking to hand him his first defeat, Beau Jangles enters the race with enormous momentum and the confidence that only an unbeaten champion can possess.

Super Sunday at Harrah’s Philadelphia

Harrah’s Philadelphia will host one of the strongest harness racing cards seen in North America this year when Super Sunday takes centre stage this weekend with more than $600,000 in stakes and invitational racing on offer.

The blockbuster program features three $100,000 Invitationals including the Maxie Lee Memorial Trot, Betsy Ross Mares Pace and Joseph Auger Memorial Pace, with a host of millionaire performers set to clash. Stars such as Bythemissal, Antognoni S, Miki And Minnie and Aetos Kronos S headline a star-studded afternoon alongside Pennsylvania Sire Stakes action for the glamour three-year-old pacing colts.

With elite free-for-allers, rising stars and major wagering opportunities all packed into one program, Super Sunday shapes as one of the standout race days of the 2026 harness racing season.

NJSS Finals At the Meadowlands

The New Jersey Sires Stakes Platinum Finals for the three-year-old pacers also add enormous depth to Saturday night’s Meadowlands card, with two outstanding fields assembled for the rich feature events.

Race 6 sees an intriguing clash in the colts and geldings division where unbeaten youngster Bookie J brings a perfect three-from-three record into the $225,000 final for trainer Chris Ryder and driver Dexter Dunn. Oogleazurus has already banked over $32,000 this season and brings strong race experience into the final, while Sonatafnutcracker and Thisbeestings Deo add further depth to a highly competitive lineup.

The fillies division in Race 13 looks equally fascinating with She Stings shaping as one of the key contenders after a strong and consistent campaign for Joe Bongiorno.

Sunny Station represents the powerful Brett Pelling stable, while Southwind Roanoke and Napalm both bring winning form into the $180,000 final. The races also continue the dominance of champion sire Perfect Sting, whose progeny feature heavily throughout both finals.
