MILTON, ON (OCT. 3, 2026) – Aceandaten won the lone $150,000 Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS) Gold Leg 5 test for 2-year-old pacing fillies on Saturday (Oct. 3) at Woodbine Mohawk Park in 1:51.

It was the first Gold harness racing victory for Aceandaten, who is a previous Grassroots winner.

Sent off at 4-1, the daughter of Cattlewash out of Dreamin Girl defeated Twin B Copacabana (Mark MacDonald) by 3 ½ lengths. Doug McNair drove the filly to victory for his father, trainer Gregg McNair, and owner Jason Castellan.

She’s A Great Lady champ Jersey Bulldog (Bob McClure) was third, followed by Twin B Mayreau (Louis-Philippe Roy) and Qued Up (Trevor Henry).

“She’s as good right now as she’s been all year,” McNair said of Aceandaten. “Her first start, I think stung her a little bit, and it kind of sent her off mentally. She went the next couple starts, and she was just a head case and a bit of a runway. And I said to Jay, ‘She’s got to go one way or the other. We’ve got to calm her down. She might get better, but I she could get worse.’ But we got lucky, and she she’s minding her manners now, and she’s coming right around.”

Aceandaten paid $10.70 to win.
