Well related filly headlines APG Adelaide Sale

Lot 504 at the APG Adelaide Sale is a well-related filly by the exciting young stallion The Storm Inside, offered by Tim Fawcett and prepared by SA BOTRA President Lee-Ann Pangrazio.

The Storm Inside was a Group 1 winner, undefeated at two, and crowned Australian 2YO Pacing Colt of the Year. With his oldest progeny only four, he is already emerging as one of the most promising sires of his generation.

The filly is out of the 11-time winner Maarek (by Artesian), a talented racemare who captured the Vicbred 3YO Country Platinum Final and has already produced the smart 11-time winner Starlight Sass.

Her second dam, Lady Addeer, was unraced but has proven her worth at stud, producing three winners including Dens Blue Beejay (13 wins, 1:55.5).

The third dam, Annbank (by Gaviland), won six races herself and left a string of tough performers such as Bank On A Touchdown (23 wins), Hue And Cry (11 wins) and Tour De Force (12 wins).

The depth continues through the fourth dam Ardeer, an unraced mare who produced one of the greats — New Zealand Cup winner and 1984 NZ Horse of the Year Steel Jaw. She is also the granddam of Lord Greystoke, who famously defeated Sinbad Bay in the Group 2 SA Cup, and Heir To Greystoke, a 17-time winner including the Listed Tontine Series.

This filly is eligible for both Vicbred and Southern Cross, adding further appeal to an already compelling pedigree page.
