Napolitano Jnr bags six at Harrah’s Philadelphia

A full field of nine lined up behind starter Norton Shoemaker for the featured event on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon at Harrah's Philadelphia.

It was a pace for non-winners of $10,000 in their last five starts.

In the beginning, it was co-favorite Bestjetyet (Geo Napolitano Jr.) moving out for the lead.

The aged son of Cam's Card Shark was looking to give driver George Napolitano Jr. his sixth consecutive driving win on the card.

He battled the parked-out Brody (Sean Bier) the entire first half (:56).

At three-quarters, Howard Edward and Kathy Davis' Nova Artist (Allan Davis) drove three wide to challenge.

They battled to the top of the stretch, and that's when Bettors Glass (Tim Tetrick) used the passing-lane to kick through for the win.

The 7-year-old son of Bettor's Delight paced a seasonal best 1:51.2, notching his 25th career win.

Bestjetyet was second, while Nova Artist flattened out to finish third.

Bettor's Glass ($13.20) is owned by Jfe Enterprise LLC and Triple D Stables, and is trained by Scott Di Domenico.

In other notes, driver George Napolitano Jr. ended up with six wins on the card.

Trainer Gilbert Garcia-Herrera had four consecutive training wins on the program as well.

Harrah's Philadelphia will conduct a special Saturday racing program, with a post time of 12:40 PM.
