US trainer suspended for 543 days

Trainer Michael Hall has been fined $5,000 and suspended for 543 days—from May 19, 2025, to November 12, 2026—after his horse The Night’s Watch (Southwind Lynx) tested positive for ADB-FUBINACA, a Class 1 banned substance, following a race at Dover Downs on February 6, 2025.

The horse which won has been disqualified and placed ninth, with purse money forfeited and subject to redistribution.

Hall must return all purse earnings and cover drug testing costs. Under Delaware Harness Racing Commission (DHRC) rules, the severity of the penalty reflects the seriousness of the drug involved.

Appeals must be filed within four business days.
