Two Group 1 wins this year and Jack is chasing more

Driver Nathan Jack.

Victorian reinsman Nathan Jack holds the key to both two-year-old Bathurst Gold finals tonight.

Jack will partner the favourite in both $110,000 Group 1 features.

He will drive Treasure Stride in the Gold Tiara Final for his father, trainer Russell Jack.

Treasure Stride made her debut when winning her Gold Tiara heat on March 16, where she spaced her rivals by more than 11m.

Jack’s Gold Crown finalist, Petracca, also won his heat by a big margin of more than 17m.

The Emma Stewart-trained colt also had his first start in his qualifier on March 18 and is the favourite to win the Gold Crown final.

Stewart has never won a Gold Crown before yet has won two Gold Tiara finals with Joanna (2020) and Shake It Mama (2011).

Russell Jack won last year’s Gold Tiara with Just Hope.

Nathan Jack has been in form this year and has already won two Group 1 races with Mach Dan in the Newcastle Mile and Just Hope in the NSW Oaks.
