Trump heading to WA
Trump to bypass Victoria Derby and head west
Harness racing trainer Mick Stanley has weighed up his options and wants to head to Perth his star three-year-old Soho Trump (Captain Crunch).

All he needs is suitable flight arrangements.
Soho Trump, winner of last year’s Group 2 Vicbred 2YO final, will have what looks his final lead up run at Melton on Saturday night.
It looms as a match race with Emma Stewart and Clayton Tonkin’s star three-year-old Brooklyn Dan.
It was expected to be a key pointer for next month’s Victoria Derby.
“We’re keen to go to Perth instead and we will if we can get the right flights,” Stanley said.
“It looks a better option for him and of course Rob (Watson, owner) is over there.”
Soho Trump was installed a $5.50 chance for the WA Derby after Stanley’s news.
The preludes for the WA Derby start at Gloucester Park next Friday night.
Soho Trump boasts seven wins from just 14 stars and has three of four starts this campaign.
