The colt has won his last two starts by a combined 40 metres including a brilliant end-to-end triumph in 1:57.7 – the second fastest time of the night – at Launceston on Sunday (June 23).

He clocked his last 800 in a flying 57.1 seconds. He is out of an unraced mare by Pacific Fella.

Tiger Tara was also represented by the recent Globe Derby Park three-year-old winner Heza Tiger (1:59.9).

The Bettor’s Delight double millionaire has sired 12 individual winners from 21 starters from his first small crops.

Tiger Tara, the Inter Dominion champion and A. G. Hunter Cup winner, stands at Medowie Lodge stud, Newcastle, of Darren Reay.

Follow The Stars, the studmate of Tiger Tara, sired the smart Penrith winner Rip Jackson (1:57.6), the dual Globe Derby victor Per Ardua Ad Astra (1:57.1) and the WA provincial winners Shes A Dactyl and Zyanya.
