Son of Cantab Hall victorious

Lindy Racing and Bob Rudolph's Lindy's Tru Grit was victorious in the feature at Harrah's Philadelphia on Thursday afternoon (April 30).

It was a winner's over $25,000 lifetime trot going for a purse of $25,000.

The 5-year-old son of Cantab Hall settled down in the pocket behind favorite Wind Of The North (David Miller).

They maintained the top positions until the head of the stretch, when Lindy's Tru Grit vacated the pocket.

The Julie Miller trainee was able to hold off the stretch drive of long shot Team Six (Marcus Miller) winning it by a little more than a length, stopping the clock in 1:54.

The winner paid $12.00, keying a $171.60 exacta. Opening Night (John Campbell) finished third.
