Think Of Galaxies scores career best in $21,200 Meadows pace

WASHINGTON, PA, Aug. 23, 2023  — Think Of Galaxies (So Surreal-Lightning D Dube) pushed Coastal to an ambitious 1:21.4 three-quarters, then blew by her in the final turn to score in a harness racing career-best 1:50.1 in Wednesday’s (Aug. 23) $21,200 Filly & Mare Open Handicap Pace at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

Coastal was bidding for her fourth straight, but when Think Of Galaxies on the lead wouldn’t release her, she was stuck outside past the three-eighths.  That set the stage for the decisive move, as Think Of Galaxies brushed for Anthony MacDonald and defeated Darby Hanover, who rallied from last, by 2 lengths while Coastal saved show.
