This week on Wednesday May 20th, the first of the Auckland Reactor weanlings will go through the All Age harness racing sale at Karaka.
We are going to preview the seven weanlings involved and have a look at their pedigrees and their confirmation as displayed in the photos on the PGG site.
Lot 24 is a Auckland Reactor colt from the four win Art Major mare in Caballe.
The weanling being offered is the first foal of the smart race winning mare Art Major mare in Caballe.
Caballe is the only winner from the grand-dam Armbro Gi Gi but the third dam Gigi Boone takes most of a pedigree page and the family behind it is one of the most commercial in NewZealand.
Gigi Boone left six winners and one of her daughters Run Gigi left the brilliant Lets Thank Heaven 1:52.8 ($324,930).
Gigi Boone is very closely related to the former star two year old Coma Berenices who is the grand-dam of Sir Clive who made $200,000 at the Australasian Classic yearling sale.
It is recognized as a juvenile producing family and has been for nearly half a century.
The colt in question is an early foal which is always a plus in our opinion.
This is the second Auckland Reactor weanling we have reviewed and the thing that strikes us again is how correct and good legged this colt is.
It is a big plus in our view to have such good legged horses at this age and is a big tick for us when reviewing a new sires foals.
