Stratford has seven in for home meeting

Gore’s leading harness racing trainer Tony Stratford won’t be driving anywhere tomorrow when he fronts up at his home meeting with seven pacers.

Van Liberty (Sportswriter) draws five on the second row in Race One. He ran a good second at his last start at Winton two weeks ago.

Debutant Dolmio Rocks (Sweet Lou) fronts up in Race Two and gets a good draw att four.

In Race Four three year old filly Byllee J (Bettor’s Delight) draws two on the outside of the second row in a large field.

Leithen Louie (Sweet Lou) and Rakavenom (Rock N Roll Heaven) line up in Race Nine.

Leithen Louie has looked smart this season, winning two of his three starts. He was seen running home nicely at a recent workout and gets a nice draw.

Rakavenom draws three on the second row. He ran out of puff at his start, finishing last.

Stratford has two runners in Race Twelve – Outback Man (He’s Watching) and Sky Patrol (Sky Major).

Outback Man hasn’t raced since the 18th November, nor has he been to any trials or workouts.

Sky Patrol was a creditable eighth in his Harness 5000 race at Ashburton. Prior to that run his local form had been good.
