Star-Studded mares front & centre at Perth Yearling Sale

The 2026 Australian Pacing Gold Perth Yearling Sale at Magic Millions on Sunday is set to feature progeny of an impressive lineup of Group winning mares and Group winner-producing mares. 

Of the 135 lots catalogued, 25 are out of Group winners and 33 are from Group winner-producing mares, representing 41 percent of the total number. 

They include offspring of 10 Group 1 winners headlined by the WA Oaks winners Libertybelle Midfrew, Sports Package and Benesari Lane, the Vicbred champion La Machane, the dual Westbred Classic winner Im Bella Jay, the Australian Pacing Gold victor Leilani Lombo, the Sales Classic winner Tenniele Erin, Utmost Delight (NZ Diamond), the SA Derby winner C C Chevron and the WA Diamond winner Cool Adda. 

The offering includes siblings to no less than 37 Group winners including 16 Group 1’s. Among the list are the triple Group 1 victor Never Ending, the Derby winners Tricky Miki and Mighty Ronaldo, the Oaks winners Taking The Miki and Momentslikethese, the Westbred Classic winners Wishing Belle, Wonderful To Fly, Menemsha, Rock On Top and Ideal Beach, the Pearl winners The Miki Taker and Isaiah Artois and the Sales Classic winners Major Martini, Floewriter and Red Hot Roxy. 

As well, there’s progeny of four Group 2 winners and 11 Group 3’s and siblings to seven Group 2 winners and 10 Group 3’s. 

The catalogue has progeny of 94 race-winning mares (66 percent) including 79 sub 2:00 mares (55 percent).
