Brilliant three-year-old filly Prolific Fire provided the highlight of the Little Brown Jug meeting at Delaware for her sire Catch The Fire when she scored a crushing win in a stakes record 1:51 in the $116,140 Ohio Breeders Championship.

Starting from the second row, Prolific Fire settled down third before assuming control going past the half-mile marker and then proceeded to blitz her rivals by 10 lengths.
The win pushed her career earnings to $366,932.
Catch The Fire was also represented by two other three-year-old winners on Jug Day in Unique Catch, who annexed a division of the Buckeye Stallion Series in 1:52.8, and Catch The Express (1:53.6).
One day earlier the Catch The Fire two-year-old geldings Stoke The Fire (1:53.8) and Hunka Hunka (1:54) captured divisions of the Buckeye Stallion Series, while the Catch The Fire three-year-old filly Sectionline Flame took a division of the Ohio Fair Racing Conference in 1:55.4.
Catch The Fire (1:46.8), a $1.4 million winning son of Captaintreacherous, is available via frozen semen to ‘down under’ breeders this season from Pete and Chantal Turpin’s Somerset Farms in Queensland.
