The Australian Drivers Championship is rotated every year with Tasmania and is ratified with Harness Racing Australia.
This Saturday night we have ten races and have to juggle the twelve drivers. With the total number of acceptances of 84 in total, it means that every driver will have seven drives for the evening. The points system will be determined on how many starters there are per race. juggling how many with 12 races. 10 in each. 4 races 10, 4 races with 8 two of six.
This Saturday’s meeting will kick off six weeks of feature racing in South Australia. On 10 October there’ll be South Australia’s first slot race at Port Pirie, the $100,000 Radiant. Then on 17 October there’ll be qualifying heats for the South Australia Pacing Cup, Derby, Trotters Cup and Golden Nursery with the Finals on 24 October.
Then in the first two weeks of November there is the Southern Cross that’s South Australia’s local breeders classic for juvenile pacers and trotters.
