WASHINGTON, PA, Dec. 21, 2015 — Some Kinda Beach made it three straight harness racing victories when he endured a demanding first quarter and triumphed convincingly in Monday's $20,000 Winners Over $10,000 Life/Preferred Handicap Pace at The Meadows.
Assigned post 8, Some Kinda Beach dueled with Stonebridge Adam through a 26.3 opening panel before grabbing the lead. Eric Goodell gave Some Kinda Beach a 29.3 second-quarter breather, and the 5-year-old son of Somebeachsomewhere-Art's Fantasy was plenty strong in the stretch, downing the first-over Dew N Doughnuts by 1-1/4 lengths in 1:51.2. Stonebridge Adam saved show.
Paul Kennedy trains Some Kinda Beach, who extended his career bankroll to $256,782, for Keith Pippi.
Tony Hall piloted four winners on the 16-race card while Jim Pantaleano and trainer Randy Bendis each fashioned a triple.
