So Much Going On!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE So Much Going On at SRF! Cream Ridge, NJ – 3/12/2023 The Standardbred Retirement Foundation, (SRF) did say remove those UDA tags when each of the 43 found freedom through the support of donors. Peeling them off is a difficult task and it will take time but, it will happen! Shared here is one of the many photos in freedom. Now homes must be secured for the 16 that are under the care and expense of SRF. A few may never find a home and this is why the 34 year old charity must constantly host many fundraisers. Fund-raisers, and individual donations make up for 92% of how SRF helps these trotters and pacers. SRF continues to be challenged by losing its ability to raise funds on Face Book and is still working on restoring this, if it can happen. Here are a few annual events coming up. SRF hopes for great support to help offset its social media issues. Horse Plop Bingo is a fundraiser with humor! This closes on March 14th at noon and the plop will take place at 4pm, or close to it! SRF will be live on Face Book for the grand finale! The online auction opens on March 23, and closes on March 26th. SRF appreciates donations and shoppers. It may be accessed through the website at Adoptahorse.org. There are so many fabulous items, a stunning collection of Currier and Ives prints from a special family, horse jewelry, beautiful silver dinnerware valued new at $7,000, rides in the starting gait and much more, a few are shown below. To donate items please email Mary Beth at SRFfundraising@gmail.com. SRF’s annual charity golf outing is in the works. Being held at the private and beautiful Battleground Country Club in Manalapan, NJ on Tuesday May 30th. This marks 30 years of golf! The shot gun start is at 1pm after lunch starting at 11:30. The day leads right into cocktails and dinner and much fun! The information will be on the website this week, or please email us to send you a package-SRFfundraising@gmail.com. Historically the course is full so SRF suggests early registration. There is a million dollar hole in one shot among other challenging opportunities to show talent and bring home some green, and the door prize is a 65″ Roku TV. Casino Night is already in the works. It’s scheduled for Friday, August 4th at the Meadowlands Race Track. There is more to come soon on this enjoyable night.
