Bets of the week ring around 19th May 2016
Updated
A tricky week for our tipster's, which only resulted in the 4 winners and 5 placing’s.
Southland based Junior Driver and Trainer Craig Ferguson backed up from his great tip last week to lead the charge this week, with his tip Jerry Fitz winning at Forbury, playing a tidy $8.30 and $2.40.
This week we cover just the 4 meetings.
Forbury – Thursday Night
Craig Ferguson – Looking for his hat trick, Craig goes for Bullys Princess in Race 2.
Brad Williamson – Goes for Ossessione as his best chance of the week, Race 3.
Cambridge – Friday Night
Jay Abernethy – Reckons Our Southern Man could start Sheryl Wigg's amateur driver's championship off with a bang, Race 1.
Todd Macfarlane – Thought first starter Bro Fawkes S was worth a dollar, Race 2.
John Curtin – He won't pay much, but he is a pick6 anchor. Tasman Bromac, Race 8.
Andrew Fitzgerald – Thought now that Van Mara had broken maiden grade he could win again quickly, Race 9.
Addington – Saturday Afternoon
Bob Butt – Reckons Conon Bridge could find form and win the Yearling Sales Trot, Race 1.
Shane Walkinshaw – Goes with The Big Boss to take the step up to Town Hall Company and salute the judge, Race 4.
Craig Thornley – Thinks Nerida Franco can bound back and win, also in Race 4.
Scott Phelan – Thought The Lone Ranger was a handy each way chance in Race 8.
Gavin Smith – Reckons Sunny Ruby is the one to beat in Race 9.
Oamaru – Sunday Afternoon
Matt Cross – Sticks with handy maiden pacer Handsome Hero, he went super last start in premier grade and jumps of the unruly here. This is his for the taking, Race 3.
Blair Orange – Currently in 2nd place on the driver’s premiership, Blair reckons Billy could add another win to his tally, Race 5.
Robbie Close – Thought Claus was his best chance of the week, Race 6.
Jonny Cox – Was pretty confident that Chapter One would back up from his recent penalty free win and take out Race 6.
Mark Jones – Goes with Anika Lindenny as his stables best chance, Laura Mckay takes the reins, Race 7.
Terry Chmiel – Reckons he can finish the weekend with a winner, Laytons Lass, Race 10
Ricky May – Could be a good quinella bet here, as Ricky has gone for Well Armed, also in Race 10.
