Former greyhound trainer Richard Hall will present a four-horse draft at the Nutrien Tasmanian Yearling Sale at Quercus Park on February 14.

Lot 5 – Filly (Warrawee Needy–Bridwood Charly)
A filly by former Canadian 2YO of his season Warrawee Needy, from the lightly raced Courage Under Fire mare Bridwood Charly. The dam is a full sister to Saint Crusader, winner of the NSW Breeders Challenge Blue for 2YOs. This filly’s pedigree also features Group 1 winner Nathan Street and Maajida, the multiple Group winner and 2019 Australian 2YO Pacing Filly of the Year.
Lot 10 – Filly (Lather Up–Bute Sister)

By emerging sire Lather Up, this filly is out of the 100-percent runners-to-winners producer Bute Sister, a half-sister to New Zealand’s 3YO Colt & Gelding of his Year Badlands Brute and New Zealand Oaks winner Caps Off.
Lot 15 – Filly (Lather Up–Hey Sister)

Also, by Lather Up, this filly is from the Dream Away mare Hey Sister, who has produced three winners from four starters, including last season’s talented two-year-old Hey Franco. Her pedigree includes Group 1 winner Jerry’s Fame close up.
Lot 35 – Colt (Stay Hungry–Weona Badgirl)

Rounding out Hall’s draft is a colt by exciting young stallion Stay Hungry, from former top New South Wales mare Weona Badgirl. She has produced seven winners from eight starters, including Weona Sizzler, a 36-time winner with 28 victories recorded in North America. This colt’s family also includes Inter Dominion champion and Australian Horse of the Year Weona Warrior.
Yearling inspections will commence at 9:30am on February 14, followed by a parade at Noon, where awards for Best Presented Colt or Gelding and Best Presented Filly will be announced. Lot 1 will enter the sales ring at 2:00pm.
