Race replays of the week

By Harnesslink ·

On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.

In Harnesslink Race Replays Of The Week we bring you a snapshot into the very best contests from around the harness racing tracks of the world.

Here’s our latest offering from the last seven days (week ended 2nd of April)

AMERICAN FEATURE

Blue Ivy celebrated a milestone victory last week when winning her 50th race while competing at MGM Northfield while racing in their Filly and Mare Open event. Watch the 1:52.3 win below.

CANADIAN FEATURE

Bitey bitey bitey. Shark Week devoured another field on Saturday night at Century Downs. Nicholas Barnsdale reported on the effort which saw Shark Week turn in a 1:53.2 time to claim the win.

NEW ZEALAND FEATURE

The Group One Fred Shaw NZ Trotting Championship was contested last week with the dominate trotter Muscle Mountain dictated terms from in front and having enough left over the concluding stages to hold off a brave Aardiebythehill. Watch the replay below.

We’ll be back in seven days time with more race replays of the week.
