On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.

In Harnesslink Race Replays Of The Week we bring you a snapshot into the very best contests from around the harness racing tracks of the world.

Here’s our latest offering from the last seven days (week ended 18th of September )

AMERICAN FEATURE

It’s hard to beat Charlie May when he’s on form and that proved the way on the opening day of the Delaware County Fair. Watch the replay as he propels himself (along with driver Brett Miller) to a sparkling 1.49.4 effort in the Ohio Breeder’s Championship for aged pacers.

CANADIAN FEATURE

The rich Milton Stakes took place at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday. In the end this test of talent became a celebration of faith as the Art Major mare Test Of faith triumphed against a strong field. Watch the stakes record win below.

AUSTRALIAN FEATURE

Kiwi pacer Copy That is back on top after a fine victory in the TAB Gammalite Free For All at Melton on Saturday night. The race, hotly contested, saw Copy That unleash a final, deciding sprint, to claim the victory over Crime Writer and a game Bettor Be The Bomb. Watch the replay below.

NEW ZEALAND FEATURE

The Hannon Memorial provided plenty of talking points on Sunday as the feature provided another lead-in towards the NZ Cup of 2022. The eventual winner, Akuta, impressed as he claimed the title in fine style considering this was his first big assignment up against the older horses. The win ensuring they’ll be plenty of interest in his progress towards Addington features in weeks to come.

We’ll be back with more race replays in seven days time
