Three groupe tests highlighted the Friday program at Paris-Vincennes. The action began with the Prix Holly du Locton (Gr III monte, purse 60,000€, 2200 meters, 10 starters three year old females) where 1.6/1 odds favorite Nikita des Charmes (3f Booster Winner-Eiffel Tower-Ready Cash) scored narrowly in 1..14.0kr with Francois Lagadeuc the winning jockey for trainer Simon Rousselle.

Ottavia Roffi-Urano bred and owns this four time winner in 10 starts for 88,240€. This filly has won four straight all in monte tests. The 4.5/1 Nayara (3f Village Mystic-Io des Nappes-Django Riff) was second a nose back ridden by Anthony Barrier for trainer Sebastien Guarato and owner Ecurie Serenite. Nespera (3f In The Money-Esperance-Olitro) was third at 4.7/1 with Mathieu Mottier in the irons  for trainer/owner Thierry Duvaldestin.

In the companion Prix Edouard Marcillac  (monte Gr III, purse 60,000€,  2200 meters, 10 three year old male starters) the 1.4/1 odds favorite Nickel de Baille (3m Galius-Harley des Molles-Charley du Noyer) rallied for a long neck victory timed in 1.14.3kr.

Breeder/owner/trainer/jockey Mathieu Mottier rode  this three time winner in five career starts for 93,475€ earned. He has won three straight. Ninja de L’Envol (3m Uriel Speed-Iakova) held second at 11/1 odds for jockey Guillaume Martin, trainer Pascal Castel and owner Sandrine Loncke. Neel Ar Mor (3g Briac Dark-Hermosa  Match)was third at 48/1 odds for jockey S.E. Pasquier, trainer Alexandre De Jesus and owner Anthony Perrin.

The featured Prix Paul Bastard (monte Gr II, 120,000€ purse, 2750 metrs, nine five year old open starters) produced a very decisive  victory for 1.7/1 odds London (5f Rockfeller Center-Tilda) ridden by trainer Mathieu Mottier for breeder/owner Danielle Mottier. London won for the seventh time in 31 career starts for 479,770€.

The 1.4/1 odds favorite Lionheart (5m  Falcao de Laurma-Decadence-Invar) was second some 10 lengths back with Damien  Bonne the jockey for Nicolas Bazire trainer for Ecurie  de Loradour. Th 35/1 Lyzia des Agets was on  the lead then made a miscue and ran the length of the lane. The 6.7/1 odds L’Ecrin d’Or (5mBird Parker-Quelle Motion)was third with Alexandre Abrivard in the irons  for trainer L.Cl. Abrivard and legendary breeder/owner Richard William Denechere. The 23/1 Lexie de Banville (5f Real de Lou) was fourth with Adrien Lamy up for trainer/owner Thomas Levesque.

Finally, upper class aged  trotteurs faced off in the Prix Chateaurenard (purse 75,000€, 2700 meters, 15 European starters ages 7-11) where 4.3/1 odds Chitchat (9g Maharajah-Bring It On) scored in 1.11.9kr.

Benjamin Rochard teamed the Daniel Wajersten trainee for Stall SoFo as Chitchat won for  sixth time in France advancing his career balance to 320,282€. Hamonet de  Choisel (9g Vittel de Brevol) was second at 15/1 driven by Matthieu Abrivard for owner  J.G. Viol and trainer S.G. Dupont. The 69/1 Habit de Soiree (9m Booster Winner) was third in a pack of rivals, driven by P-Y Verva for conditioner Frederic Senet for breeder/owner Michele  Stihl. Hold Up du Saptel (9g Uriel Speed) was fourth at 9/1 odds for trainer/driver MathieuMottier and owner Elodie Chenet.
