The featured Prix Paul Bastard (monte Gr II, 120,000€ purse, 2750 metrs, nine five year old open starters) produced a very decisive victory for 1.7/1 odds London (5f Rockfeller Center-Tilda) ridden by trainer Mathieu Mottier for breeder/owner Danielle Mottier. London won for the seventh time in 31 career starts for 479,770€.

The 1.4/1 odds favorite Lionheart (5m Falcao de Laurma-Decadence-Invar) was second some 10 lengths back with Damien Bonne the jockey for Nicolas Bazire trainer for Ecurie de Loradour. Th 35/1 Lyzia des Agets was on the lead then made a miscue and ran the length of the lane. The 6.7/1 odds L’Ecrin d’Or (5mBird Parker-Quelle Motion)was third with Alexandre Abrivard in the irons for trainer L.Cl. Abrivard and legendary breeder/owner Richard William Denechere. Finally, upper class aged trotteurs faced off in the Prix Chateaurenard (purse 75,000€, 2700 meters, 15 European starters ages 7-11) where 4.3/1 odds Chitchat (9g Maharajah-Bring It On) scored in 1.11.9kr.

Benjamin Rochard teamed the Daniel Wajersten trainee for Stall SoFo as Chitchat won for sixth time in France advancing his career balance to 320,282€. Hamonet de Choisel (9g Vittel de Brevol) was second at 15/1 driven by Matthieu Abrivard for owner J.G. Viol and trainer S.G. Dupont. The 69/1 Habit de Soiree (9m Booster Winner) was third in a pack of rivals, driven by P-Y Verva for conditioner Frederic Senet for breeder/owner Michele Stihl.
