Harness Analyst Best Tips
Best Bet: R11 Matai Harry
Best Value: R3 Evidently
Race 1
Kawatiri Trev (6) Trialled like a horse with upside and looks the one with master trainer preparing.
Robbie K (5) First race-day test but has shown enough to be respected. Could be right on the speed.
Mithali (2) Grass form stacks up and gets every chance from the front mark. One for odds
Race 2
Ultimatum (3) One of the more seasoned runners in the field. Quick beginner who can go close
Major Li (5) Usually gives you a sight and looks well placed to be a good top three chance in this.
The Town Of Light (7) Not a superstar but the driver change will give him every opportunity here.
Race 3
Evidently (2) Reliable type who typically does his best work at this venue. Any rain helps. Include
Franco Tim (8) Suited by grass racing and can improve sharply if the tempo is genuine. Top three
Hez A Loch (11) Needs luck from the second line but can still punch into the money if the pace is on.
Race 4
Sheila Laxon (8) Has found form at the right time and can loop into it late if they go hard early.
Joany Baby (1) Drawn to get the soft run. If the gaps come, she’s a real chance to run top three
Prince Teka (4) Old stager who keeps whacking away. Likely leader who is needed for multiples.
Race 5
Unico Tessa (3) Has enough speed to be competitive and won’t need to improve much to feature here.
Dancing N Heaven (6) Looks the main danger and maps to be close enough to strike when it matters.
Easy Art (1) Inside draw helps a lot. Can stick on for a cheque with a nice trail here. One for odds
Race 6
Prosperity (5) Strong each-way type. This is a winnable race if with cover and the last shot at them.
Times Like These (7) Better than the bare form and can be charging late into the trifecta. Grass suits
Troubleshooter (1) Drawn to control the early stages but manners iffy. Big chance if allowed to dictate.
Race 7
Luvavici (7) Fresh legs and upside. Looks ready to take a hand with a good run in transit. Needed.
Jasprit Trouble (2) Hard-fit and honest and grass specialist. Will be right there when the pressure goes on.
Tribbiani (4) If he trots cleanly he has the ability to be in the finish. Chances depend on manners here
Race 8
The Coalman (4) Tough type who should be in the race a long way. Chance at longer odds from the front
Tabasco (9) Danger if he lands the right run through. Can give a real sight on grass with a good trip
Bruntwood Brigade (3) In good form and won’t be far away. Can rough it and has to be included.
Race 9
One Over Da Line (2) Progressive trotter who looks like he’ll handle the assignment. Top selection
Premium Player (7) Loves this circuit but out of form. Big improvement expected back on this track.
Franco Josiah (8) Capable but needs things to go right. Dangerous if he got to the front. Go again
Race 10
Foliejon Star (1) Drawn to get a cosy run. Can be the one they have to run down. Grass suits here
Mattie Nevin (2) Lightly raced and improving. Do not underestimate and can be storming home late.
Country Gold (4) Solid type who can grind into the money if the tempo suits and he is close enough
Race 11
Matai Harry (11) Better than his last few look and can fire on grass. Big danger if the pace is on.
Samvasa (8) Honest horse who keeps putting himself in the finish on grass. Must include here
Just Ask Paddy (5) Could improve sharply on the grass and is the knockout hope in the race.
