Rangiora selections 26th April 2026

Harness analyst best tips:
Best Bet: R8  Classie Linc
Best Value: R4 Major Performer

Race 1

Hugo (9) Ok in his last two Addington runs and can feature despite the draw.
Belmont Valor (7) Strong first up effort recently and gets his chance today. Needed
Lorton Vale (5) Weak field suits and can sneak into the placings with luck. Roughy

Race 2

Katelin (8) Placed three of four last campaign and trialed well. Strong claims fresh.
Lap It Up (2) Forgive Methven run. Prior form strong and looks a danger here.
Ellagator Al (11) Debutant from respected stable and recent trial form says include.

Race 3

Boy Racer (14) Good Methven run and despite unruly draw still a leading hope. Needed
Bruciebytheseaside (2) Fresh runner with handy trial form and good draw helps plenty.
Boyzone (3) Worked hard fresh up and should improve second run in. Hard to beat

Race 4

Major Performer (4) Tidy late work last start and handier run can see her in the money.
Country Gold (6) Recent Addington second was strong. Right in calculations again.
Not Over (2) Drops in grade and likely to race handy. Nice each way chance here.

Race 5

Johnny Trotter (7) Game winner then strong Addington second. Looks the horse to beat.
Natives Inferno (2) Good course record and maps well from handy mark. Must include.
Della’s Fella (11) Ran on nicely midweek on grass and can trouble these with manners.

Race 6

Franco Lennon (10) Consistent recent placings and can win with gaps at the right time.
Mighty Delight (2) Debut runner with trial merit and soft draw to help. In the mix
Bettor Dreams (1) Went close last start and gets every chance from inside gate.

Race 7

The Coalman (3) Overdue win last start and cheeky hope off the front tape.
Tempo Warrior (2) Strong second Friday and from handy mark can go close.
Shepherds Delight (1) Went close at Methven and cannot be overlooked here.

Race 8

Classie Linc (6) Too tough midweek winner and has claims again if she goes forward
Lilac Luxury (10) Strong late work last start and can swoop with clear air. Include
Jay Jay Denario (5) Luckless last run and looks hard to beat in this field. Needed

Race 9

Birdy (11) Forget latest miss. Prior two runs were bright and worth another chance.
Son E (13) Recent trial third after gallop and market moves would be key. One for odds
Royal Gypsy (4) Racing with purpose and should go close again. Needs manners

Race 10

Topaz (12) Consistent mare who can run on late despite second row draw. Top selection
Down A Hundy (9) Has shown ability and despite gate can be right in it.
Wishing For U (6) Strong Motukarara win and front row draw keeps him dangerous.
