Harness analyst best tips:
Best Bet: R5 Sriracha
Best Value: R4 Akatea
Race 1
Twist And Tango (4)
Excellent Cambridge record and was only narrowly beaten at Auckland last week. Looks one of the leading hopes.
Fly High (9)
Strong maiden win two starts ago and should get a cosy run from the second line. Include.
Clouding Over (2)
Showed plenty of grit at Auckland last week and another honest effort is expected.
Race 2
Prince Lincoln (2)
Forget the recent runs. His best form is more than good enough for a race like this and he gets his chance.
Claude (11)
Unlucky two starts back before a solid placing effort. Draw is tricky but he can feature late.
Captain Moonlight (3)
Strong all-the-way winner last start and gets another handy draw. Must be respected.
Race 3
Lucky As (3)
Consistent recent efforts suggest a win isn’t far away. Drawn to get every opportunity.
Major Copy (1)
Caught wide on debut after attracting support. The ace draw gives him every chance to make amends.
S S Guppy (5)
Forgive the last run. His fresh-up second was full of merit and he’s capable of bouncing back.
Race 4
Tizours (5)
Has been knocking on the door and looks one of the better winning chances from the front.
Brass Razoo (13)
Another honest placing last start and continues to race consistently. Strong exotic contender.
Shred N Burn (3)
Galloped on debut but showed enough ability to suggest improvement is likely.
Race 5
Sriracha (2)
Solid efforts at Auckland recently and the draw gives him every chance to be prominent throughout.
Seaside Charlie (1)
Barrier one is a major advantage and he looks capable of running another honest race.
Spirit Of God (11)
Tidy effort last start and can improve again with race fitness on her side.
Race 6
Barsukov (3)
Dropped back in grade and immediately returned to winning form. Rates highly again.
Dark Ghana (1)
Manners remain the key but the ability is there if he can put it all together.
Patrick Mahomes (4)
Rarely runs a bad race and another placing would not surprise. Has to be included
Race 7
Princess Of Savoy (8)
Resumes after two encouraging workouts and has the class to overcome the awkward draw.
Melody Banner (6)
Hasn’t shown her best this campaign but this field is not beyond her. Tricky draw here
Sweet Maggie Mae (9)
Strong short course statistics and a soft trip from the second line makes her a major contender.
Race 8
Lincoln Wave (5)
Forgive the standing start failure. Back to a mobile and looks a genuine winning chance.
Sugar Ray Lincoln (6)
Powerful winner three starts ago and can be dangerous with the right run into the race.
The Night Agent (1)
Freshened since his last run and the inside draw puts him right in the contest.
Race 9
Kaipaki Jack (4)
Capable on his day and can improve sharply back to a more suitable assignment.
Loteria (8)
Resumes with strong ability and a faultless display would make her a major threat.
Tactical Approach (1)
Dominant winner last start and deserves respect despite stepping up in grade.
Race 10
Aunty Rose (3)
Hit the line strongly last time and looks well placed from a favourable draw.
Lexington Queen (14)
Recent workout winner who should attract plenty of support despite the wide barrier.
Enzo (1)
Gets the ace draw and should enjoy every opportunity to return to form.
Race 11
Grace N Elegance (9)
Backed up a victory with a strong placing and looks one of the better chances again.
Home Grown Girl (5)
Returns to a track where she has previously performed well. Worth considering at value.
And Remember Me (3)
Confidence is building with each run and another honest effort is expected.
