Cambridge selections 3rd July 2026

Harness analyst best tips:

Best Bet:  R7  Rahm

Best Value:  R1  Cyamate

Race 1

Cyamate (1)
Worked too hard last start after doing plenty early. Gets the perfect draw and can bounce straight back.

Messenger Buoy (5)
Draws to secure a much kinder run and is capable of figuring with the right trip.

Dave Duley (6)
Drops into easier company and looks one of the better winning chances in this field.

Race 2

Pirayas (2)
Has been knocking on the door with three consecutive placings. Deserves another chance.

Shred N Burn (5)
Has shown plenty despite making mistakes and a clean beginning makes him a major player.

Shards Avatar (4)
Two excellent runner-up efforts suggest a win isn’t far away. Has to be respected.

Race 3

Miss Brabant (9)
Excellent runner-up last start and another soft run from the second line keeps her right in this.

Billy The Kid (5)
Racing honestly enough and his Cambridge record makes him a genuine each-way chance.

Sea Of Love (8)
Better than recent form suggests and with the right run can sneak into the finish.

Race 4

Brienne (7)
Returns to a track she enjoys and the mobile conditions should suit nicely.

Cyclone Sala (2)
Racing consistently and looks ideally placed to take advantage of this grade.

Kamilla (8)
Hit the line well last start and another honest effort would not surprise.

Race 5

Arose (1)
Strong runner-up last start and from the ace draw gets every opportunity to go one better.

Pepinyastep (5)
Well-related first starter who has impressed at the trials. Respect any market confidence.

Olympic Ko (9)
Returned with a solid effort and natural improvement makes him a leading contender.

Race 6

Elizabeth Hill (6)
Has the ability to measure up here if she can put it all together. Major threat.

Grace N Elegance (1)
Forget the latest run. Previous form was solid and the draw is a definite plus.

Hill Billie Bundy (7)
Runner-up at her last two starts and is racing well enough to feature again.

Race 7

Rahm (8)
Forget his last run. Form before that was excellent and he’s the horse to beat.

Black Beauty (6)
Freshened since a strong Auckland placing and looks one of the main dangers.

Ohoka Achilles (5)
Honest Cambridge performer who should appreciate returning to this circuit.

Race 8

The Merc (5)
Now with a local stable and has the ability to measure up in this company.

Whatever It Takes (10)
Returned with an impressive victory and looks capable of making it back-to-back wins.

What’s The Whisper (12)
Comes off a smart last-start victory and is capable of overcoming the handicap.

Race 9

Secret Beach (5)
Very impressive winning fresh and has already shown he handles this track well.

Beta Prepare (11)
Had little luck last start and can improve sharply with even breaks.

Claude (2)
Finally draws to use his gate speed and is capable of surprising at odds.

Race 10

King Of Memvis (2)
Has continued to improve with racing and looks ready to break through.

The Miki Taker (7)
Finding the line well in recent starts and can add value to combinations.

Arrigo (1)
Had no luck resuming and from the ace draw gets his chance to bounce back.
