Auckland selections 22nd May 2026

Harness analyst best tips:
Best Bet: R5 Ya Rite Darl
Best Value: R1 Kink

Race 1

Kink (3) Racing in excellent touch lately and his recent Palmerston North form stacks up strongly here. Big threat despite the handicap.

Magic Dash (4) Never got warm from 35m last week but this track suits him perfectly. Looks well placed tonight.

Confessional (5) Talented trotter when he does things right and capable of bouncing back sharply with manners.

Race 2

Lucky Luka (2) Trial and workout form has been solid and the handy draw gives him every chance on debut.

Fly High (4) Better suited dropping back into this grade and should get his chance from a handy marble.

Sriracha (7) Strong effort behind Sammy Lincoln last week and looks one of the main dangers again.

Race 3

Our Col (7) Has measured up strongly behind Kyvalley Ray recently and should take beating despite the draw.

Petite Amour (6) Ultra-consistent filly who keeps finding the line strongly. Major player again tonight.

Pretty Elite (4) Bold debut after doing work in the running and natural improvement makes her dangerous.

Race 4

Lincoln Wave (4) No match for Jumal last week but prior form was excellent. Looks one of the leading hopes.

Social Distancing (5) Dictated terms in front last start and another bold showing looks likely if he lands handy.

Sugar Ray Lincoln (3) Tough effort parked throughout last week and this race sets up nicely again.

Race 5

Ya Rite Darl (9) Has been racing quality opposition lately and the 20m handicap looks very manageable here.

Walkinonsunshine (8) Strong Rowe Cup performances recently and clearly one of the major chances despite the mark.

Sans Au Revoir (4) Upset winner two starts ago and another soft trip could see her in the finish again.

Race 6

Princess Gracy (4) Luckless at a key stage last week and gets another major opportunity if she steps cleanly.

Tytate (5) Strong recent efforts behind Francent and the staying trip should suit perfectly.

Diamonds Are Forever (6) Most experienced standing start runner in the field and racing in excellent order lately.

Race 7

Who’s Ya Daddy (6) Huge effort behind Kyvalley Ray two starts back and capable of bouncing back sharply here.

Shes All Legs (2) Ultra-consistent mare who keeps hitting the line strongly. Drawn to feature again.

Memories (9) Resumed with a dominant victory three weeks ago and cannot be overlooked despite the second row.

Race 8

Sammy Lincoln (2) Broke through impressively last week and the draw gives him every chance to repeat the dose.

Georgie Best (3) Talented pacer who resumes off a sharp recent workout victory. Looks a genuine threat fresh.

Prince Lincoln (9) Forget last week’s run. Previous win was dominant and he can bounce back with the right trip.
