Ashburton selections 10th May 2026

Harness analyst best tips:
Best Bet: R3 Boy Racer
Best Value: R4 Amistozo

Race 1

Giorgio Denario (1) Hit the line well resuming and another honest effort looks likely from the ace.
Kotare Rimu (3) Has done work in stronger fields lately and can improve back into this grade.
Flying Ace (8) Ultra-consistent campaign so far and despite the alley still has to be respected.

Race 2

Time For Victory (10) Racing consistently this time in and should be right in the finish again.
Propellor (4) Tough effort parked last start after two solid placings prior. Big winning hope.
Kayleebelle (9) Risky customer but has shown enough ability previously to sneak into exotics.

Race 3

Boy Racer (10) Strong recent placings and this field doesn’t look beyond him despite the draw.
Poseidon (2) Useful return effort last week and the improved draw makes him a serious threat.
Miss Woodville (7) Freshened since March and capable of running into the minors with luck.

Race 4

Amistozo (3) Smart type resuming after strong early form and trial work says he’s ready.
Help Me (2) Honest since breaking through and gets every chance from the handy marble.
Wot Up Tyron (8) Fought on gamely last week and can feature again with manners throughout.

Race 5

Goorambat Art (8) Tough runs recently without much luck and this field looks more suitable.
Not Over (6) Loves to race handy and should give another bold sight in this company.
Super Fund (2) Formline only fair but hasn’t had much go his way lately. Include in multiples.

Race 6

He’s My Creation (7) Strong winner last start after using early speed and rates highly again.
Barrytown (4) Consistent around this grade and the sprint trip suits him perfectly.
The Merc (2) Chased hard at Addington and from the draw should get every chance here.

Race 7

Bettor Than Lizzy (7) Held up at a key stage last week and capable of sharp improvement here.
Delightful Dreams (8) Honest recent effort after working forward and not the worst despite the draw.
Lous Pinup Girl (5) Better signs at Rangiora and has the ability to feature prominently again.

Race 8

Commander Ben (3) Easier assignment this time and can bounce back sharply from the handy draw.
Taumutu Lad (2) Strong enough previous form to suggest he can take a hand in this.
Princess Lisa (5) Impressive Invercargill winner and looks capable of measuring up again.

Race 9

Four Wise Women (9) Strong recovery run last week and with manners looks one of the better hopes.
Harriet’s Moment (8) Has been thereabouts in recent runs and only needs a touch of luck.
Brianna (4) Nice record at this venue and can improve sharply with a cleaner run.

Race 10

Courage Reactor (4) Burned plenty early last start and fought on well enough. Big danger here.
Betterwithbling (13) Strong late work recently and another honest showing looks likely.
Anytime At All (15) Racing consistently and with the right cart into it can finally break through.
